This is one of my favorite moments on the High Line, where the bell tower at General Theological Seminary appears to frame the Empire State Building. Despite all the construction in this part of the High Line, you can still get a clear shot of this lovely coming-together of old New York architecture and new. Just position yourself between 18th & 19th Streets on the east side of the park. If you don’t want the plants of the High Line included, there’s a bench you can stand on that will put your lens above the railing. [click the image to enlarge it]

Annik, Thank you for your labor of love. I am leading a group next week of people from Kansas and Missouri. Part of our itinerary includes the High Line Park. I have been out of date on the newer buildings and now I can share it all with them. Especially love the shot of the bell tower of General Theological Seminary framed with the Empire State Building. I will give you all the credit for the information I share with my group. Such an honor, Sharon
